Second day of competition at the E-Work Arena featuring 57 matches

Busto Arsizio, March 4, 2024 – On the second day of competition at the Boxing Road To Paris 1st World Qualifying Tournament, 114 athletes took to the ring at the E-Work Arena, with 29 bouts in the first session and 28 in the second, featuring the women’s 54kg category and the men’s 57kg and 80kg categories.

Two sessions of competition for the pre-Olympic event, which sees the participation of 602 athletes from 113 countries, are vying for the 49 Olympic spots at stake, with 21 for women and 28 for men across 13 weight categories. For men, there are 7 weight categories (with 4 spots for 51kg, 57kg, 63.5kg, 71kg, 80kg, 92kg, +92kg) and for women, 6 weight categories (with 4 spots for 50kg, 54kg, 66kg, 75kg, 2 spots for 57kg, 3 spots for 60kg).
