Boxing Experience. Boxando is starting to be learned in 30 schools.
The spin-off of “Boxando s’impara”, the national FPI project focused on a practical and theoretical training course intended for students and teachers, was launched in January in 30 schools (lower secondary schools ), located throughout the territory of Lombardy and Piedmont. Officially accredited to MIUR/Sport and Health, as part of the school activities carried out by the FSN, the initiative is part of the Boxing Experience Busto Arsizio 2024, approaching the World Olympic Qualification Tournament. The project has the aim of bringing the ethical and moral values of boxing into schools, through the P.E.S (School Educational Boxing) method, and is divided into three modules: the first which includes 10 hours of lessons during curricular time on Amateur and Youth Boxing tenure by the Sports Technicians of the Lombardy and Piedmont Regional Committees; the second to be carried out on the FPI e-learning platform with the vision of 10 lessons on the rules of boxing, on the psycho-physical well-being that the discipline brings, on social issues such as Bullying and Cyberbullying and on nutrition (food pyramid) by the Team Teachers of the National Boxing School - Training, Development and Innovation Area; and the third based on “The meeting with the Champion” at school, in which the FPI Busto Arsizio 2024 Ambassadors tell their sporting and human story and discuss the proposed training path with students and teachers, waiting to continue the experience with gloves at ringside.
